Hey, I’m doing well.  Just finished up my 1st year of photojournalism.  Got an internship with the Toronto Argonauts Football Club this summer, and made a lot of connections with other photojournalists and newspaper editors at a photography conference.  So, things are good.  How’ve you been?

Day 27, Insanity Workout: Plyometric Cardio Circuit

Okay!!!  Today is the last of month 1…took me two months to get through it (due to school & life), but I did it.  I’ll be taking a few “Rest Days” because I’ll be out of town for NPAC (National Photographers Association of Canada) Conference, and I would also like to start my “Recovery Week” on a Monday just like how the calendar has it.  So I will see you in a few days.

Oh ya, about my workout….I really wasn’t in the mood to do it but I did it because I knew I had to…K, ttyl!

Day 26, Insanity Workout: Pure Cardio & Cardio Abs

Okay, okay…I didn’t see you (tomorrow).  I finally finished my 1st year of Photojournalism on Friday, left to go home.  Saturday had a family gathering for a 79th birthday, then on Sunday, went to church, then booked it to my godson’s 5th birthday, so clearly I had absolutely no time to finish my last two workouts to start my recovery week.  So like always I’ll just continue them and won’t be on schedule like the calendar.  At least I’m doing it right, I think that counts for something.

Well, pure cardio…my least favourite Insanity workout…I didn’t do to bad, still can’t get through those flipping push-up jacks, but my arms are burning and hot.  I’m hot and sweaty, and I have a lot to do today, and more travelling to another city, again.  So, I will see you later.

Day 25, Insanity Workout: Cardio Recovery

So today, is the last day of school.  I get to go home…for like a day and a half.  Also, I had an unexpected workout partner, YAAY!  He’s pretty beat from the cardio recovery, and I told him this was the easy workout.  Lol!  I felt the way he did when I first started, so I know how he feels.  Well, it was a good recovery, I’m glad it was today since this will be a long day, and I have a 5 hour bus trip back home.  Until then, see you tomorrow…hopefully.

Day 24, Insanity Workout: Plyometric Cardio Circuit

OH…MY…GOODNESS!!!!!  I really shouldn’t skip a workout no matter what.  This is one of my strongest workouts in Insanity and it nearly kicked my butt.  Sweating buckets isn’t even a good enough description, I think I created my own pond okay…I was doing the majority of my workout with my eyes closed because I couldn’t see and my sweat was burning my eyes soo much.  I really pushed myself here, except for a zillion breaks I took because my shoes were killing me and I had to change them, then adjust my other ones.  I need new running shoes.  DO NOT WEAR SHOCKS WHEN DOING INSANITY, I’m just going to tell you that right now.  Anyways, once I got into my workout again, ya…it was a good one and I feel good.

Now, I’m going put up a sweat pic for you guys, I’m going to warn you…it’s not pretty, but then working out is not pretty.  I’m sure I’ve mentioned this before, if I have, I’m going to say it again.  Those stupid exercise and workout ads with those skinny girls smiling and ONLY glistening are all lying to you, this is what you should look like during and after you workout okay!

Day 23, Insanity Workout: Cardio Power & Resistance

Hi guys, so I guess I didn’t see you (tomorrow) as I said in my last Insanity post Day 22.  It was my birthday the last time I made a post, and I went out on Saturday to celebrate, which in turn made all day sunday a recovery day….hehehe.  Yesterday was work, so now I am back.  Well, let me tell you this, it was a bit difficult, again because of my breathing.  It is allergy season, and for me allergies sometimes triggers my asthma a bit, therefore my ability to perform 110% is brought down to 95-95% =(.  But I did it in moderation, listened to my body when she tells me to take it easy and I made it through.

On another note, SCHOOL’S ALMOST DONE!!!!

Day 22, Insanity Workout: Pure Cardio & Cardio Abs

Okay so yesterday, I took an extra rest day.  As you know, I’ve had a lot of assignments due this week, and I felt like I was going to burn out from exhaustion, so I decided to listen to my body and take it easy.  That’s the thing, even though you want results quickly, even though you should still push yourself, you still have to listen to your body and rest when it tells you to rest.  So today I did my workout!!!

AND IT’S MY BIRTHDAY!!!!

Pure Cardio is my weakest workout so far for Insanity…..I don’t like Pure Cardio, I don’t like suicides (never did even before Insanity), I don’t like  switch kick (I can never get my legs high enough, my legs feel so heavy doing these, and I don’t like push-jacks (even though I’m getting better at them)…I do love the results though!!!!  I think I see some abs somewhere under there :D
