Insanity-wk1-day4

Today was Cadio Recovery..it was good, I liked it, it’s also a reminder of how much I need to work on my arms/shoulders.  Most of the planking exercises weren’t hard, I enjoyed them, I just couldn’t fully get through them because my arms would burn out, which sucks, but I’ll get there again.

Well, I gotta go shower, and start packing now.  I’m moving to Toronto tomorrow to start my internship on Monday.  Wish me luck.

Insanity-wk1-day3

Okay, so today I did Cardio Power & Resistance, this was one of my favourites, and still is.  Just gotta start eating right so I can actually get through the whole workout without frequently resting.  But it was good.

Oh ya, so just so I don’t get bored with Insanity, again, I decided to either do it every other day or keep going until I really don’t feel like it, and on the days I don’t do Insanity I have to do a NTC (Nike Training Club) workout.  This way I’m doing something all the time, and still take my rest days when needed.

I don’t like repetitiveness  I need to do something different all the time, or I’ll get bored and not want to do it anymore, so hopefully this will work, and I will keep you posted.

Insanity-wk1-day2

Thought I could do a before breakfast workout…didn’t do too bad, eating before will definitely help with energy. One bad thing is that my knee injury (from rugby) already came back and this is just the first workout :(. I will continue to do insanity but try to find an alternate exercise for the ones that will irritate my knee. Boo to sports injuries!!! Life of an athlete!!!

I haven’t sweat like this in a while, and I’ve sweated more than this before doing insanity!

Look who’s at it again!  Yes, back on my Insanity workout, I found an Insanity Tracker app for my iPhone, so this is a cool way to track my progress.  I had a one day delayed start, but at least I’ve started it right.  Here are my results and stuff for my first fitness test.

I’m going to try to do another one tonight to catch up since I was suppose to do my fitness test yesterday.

I think…

I need to get back on insanity again.  I was truly seeing results, and now I’m going backwards again.  It’s just that I got board doing it, mainly by myself, but I don’t have anyone who will do it with me…=(

Back to my workouts…

…So I was sick all last week, therefore there was no hitting up the gym.  Yesterday, I was suppose to go, but ended up in an optional class and showed some work, and it took longer than expected, then I had to go to work (shoot volleyball).  Today, I go back to the gym..and it’s LADIES NIGHT, which means there’ll be pretty much nobody in the weight room, which also means…the weights are ALL MINE TONIGHT!!! YESSSS!!!!!

Today’s NTC workout: CURVE CARVER.  Didn’t kick my a** but I was definitely breathing hard for this one.

Yesterday’s 45min workout Shape + Sculpt with NTC (Nike Training Club).  My knees were sore after I was done, but not for long.  Definitely gets your heart pumping.

Insanity Workout: Cardio Abs

So today, I only had time for a short workout, and also my left hip is starting to hurt when I walk, so I just did the 20min Cardio Abs so I wouldn’t put to much strain on my hip.  Doing something is better than doing nothing right?  Awesome!  Abs are starting to come in, and I was ONE POUND away from my 1st goal weight of 135, then I screwed it up by eating bad food =S.  Well, here is a photo from yesterday!

Insanity mixture Day 2

Did my second Core Cardio & balance + Cardio Abs, I think I sweated more than yesterday, but I did get up and do, mainly out of sheer boredom.  I don’t know what to do with myself now that I’m done my internship.  Looking to make some money for the next month and a half before I go back to school.  Anyways, here’s an after workout pic, enjoy!

My own Insanity mixture

So, I’m going to Jamaica in one week, it was a last minute thing for my grandmother’s memorial for the family that couldn’t make it to Canada for her funeral.  So, now I have to get back on my core workout, I decided to use two of Shaun T’s workouts from insanity to try to tone up my core.  This week I will be doing Core Cardio & Balance AND Cardio Abs as a combination.  Abs are still in there, just gotta burn all that fat.  We’ll see how this one goes by the time I fly out.

Insanity is on hold!

Okay, hi guys….insanity has been put on hold for now.  I’m interning as a photographer with the Toronto Argonauts this month, and it has made it very difficult to do my workouts, and also, my grandma passed away Thursday =(  So for now…I’ll just be doing my own cardio (running/jogging), and doing Nike Training Club 15 min workouts.  Which I have started yesterday, and I didn’t even know where I was running too…I just ran, came home and did NTC Ab burner.  So…ya, I’m off to photograph these footballers, we’ll see who picks on me today as if I’m their little sister even though I’m older than a few of them.

No space to workout…

…so, I was suppose to do my workout yesterday but it never happened because I moved to another city for my internship on Friday. The house where I’m staying does not good open space for working out. Now…I don’t know what I’m going to do. So until I figure something out, I won’t be blogging about my insanity workouts =*(
