No space to workout…

…so, I was suppose to do my workout yesterday but it never happened because I moved to another city for my internship on Friday. The house where I’m staying does not good open space for working out. Now…I don’t know what I’m going to do. So until I figure something out, I won’t be blogging about my insanity workouts =*(

Day 6, Insanity Workout: Plyometric Cardio Circuit 2.0

Yay, got through my Plyometric Cardio Circuit…with a bunch a breaks, omg!!!  I don’t know what’s happening to me.  I hope I’ll get better, still trying to keep myself motivated.  Watching my reflection and seeing the muscles in my core is helping though, I’m looking better and better.  Well, tomorrow is my rest day, which is perfect because I’m moving…again…for my TORONTO ARGONAUTS FOOTBALL CLUB photography internship!!! YAAAAAY!!!!

SWEAT PIC!:

Day 5, Insanity Workout: Pure Cardio 2.0

Okay, I missed yesterday but I caught up today!  Did my pure cardio 2.0, thought I wasn’t going to pull through but I did pretty good (with a couple of rests), you know why?  Because I had a GOOD BREAKFAST.  Simple, but good, scrambled egg sandwich with mango juice!  Gotta love eggs!  I also think I’m going to have to cut out cereal period, I’m somewhat lactose intolerant, but I notice when I have a bowl of cereal my body doesn’t exactly agree with it, in fact I don’t get enough energy out of cereal.  So, no more cereal…I’ll try.

Also, I have some workout pics!  While I was doing my workout, I did it infront of glass, my parents tv cabinet has a glass door, I can see my reflection, which was actually very helpful.  I can see my form, and my ABS!!!!  They’re coming, slowly, but I can see them working.  Now I know it’s not that hard for me to get my abs, but my main problem area are my obliques, love handles, muffin top, whatever you want to call them.  They’re still there…well, here are some pics!

Day 4, Insanity Workout: Cardio Recovery 2.0

So…did my insanity workout today, I was so glad it was Cardio Recovery, only thing was my left shoulder injury started bothering me during some of the moves, but it went well, watched tv while I worked out…lol, went by a lot faster, HA!

See you tomorrow!!!

Day 3, Insanity Workout: Cardio Power & Resistance 2.0

Okay, I missed a couple days =(.  I’m really losing my motivation to workout, and I’m not sure why.  I have no excuse really, just in a lazy mode now that school is over and I don’t really have much else to do now that I’m home.  There’s no point in looking for a job right now because I’ll be moving for my internship at the end of this week.  I need to find my motivation soon, I do know that insanity works, I’ve seen the results in my body, and so have other people, and it seems I’ve been doing pretty good according to the reactions I’ve been getting.

Cardio Power & Resistance (2.0)…thought I wasn’t going to make it through this workout =S.  I had cereal for breakfast, which probably didn’t help at all.  I really should just stick to eggs, eggs always gives you lots of energy I’ve notice, been told, and read.  But I did it, I did my workout!!! =D

Day 2, Insanity Workout: Plyometric Cardio Circuit 2.0

Okay, I just finished my day 2 plyometric cardio circuit..part 2.  For those who don’t know, I did worse on my 3rd fitness test going into month 2, so I decided to repeat month 1.  Workout went well, lacked a bit of energy, my younger sister cheered me on though =D YAY!  K, ttyl!

Day 36, Insanity Workout: Dig Deeper & Fitness Test #3

……OMG!  I did not do better on my on my 3rd fitness test =(

Exercise:  Attempt #2/Attempt #3

Switch Kicks: 134/125

Power Jacks: 60/49

Power Knees: 93/100 (better)

Power Jumps: 35/27

Globe Jumps: 7/9 (better)

Suicide Jumps: 22/18

Push-Up Jacks: 30/20

Low-Plank Obliques: 100/70

So as a result…I’m going to repeat month 1 again.  Back to the beginning I go!  Oh, and I love my new Nike Free 5.0 cross trainers!!!

Day 31-34, Insanity Workout: Core Cardio and Balance

Okay, so yesterday I finished my recovery week and today is my rest day.  My went well, definitely sweated.  The last two exercises of the workout really gets you, it is hard in terms of it really burns.  I’m contemplating on doing this for a second week before I dive into month two, I’m going to take a look at a few forums and see how people are personalizing their Insanity challenge.  Also, I am in need of a new pair of training shoes, so today on my rest day, I’m going to go shoe shopping and see what’s out there.  At least I have more choice here at home than I would in Belleville, that’s for sure.  I’ll take pics of my favourites, and show you what I’ve found.  Until then, I will see you later, gotta go get ready now! =P

Day 30, Insanity Workout: Core Cardio & Balance

Okay, just finished my 2nd day of my recovery week. This time I worked a bit harder, got sweaty, breathing is still not 100% but I’m doing well. Now, for the next few days this week I’ll be doing the same work, so it doesn’t make sense that I blog about it all the time unless I feel like I should. So…if anything I will see you on the last day of my recovery week!

Ciao!

Day 29, Insanity Workout: Core Cardio and Balance

Okay, I’m back from my multiple recovery days.  If you’re wondering what I’ve been up to for the past couple of days, I’ve been pretty busy.  In short:

Fri. Apr. 20 – Last day of school

Sat. Apr. 21 – 79th birthday party

Sun. Apr. 22 – My godson’s 5th birthday party

Mon. Apr. 23 – Did my insanity workout with my bff, then went to my cousins house

Fri. Apr. 27- Sat. Apr. 28 – NPAC 2012, made lots of new connections with Canadian & American photographers/photojournalists and editors

Sun. Apr. 29 – Came home

Mon. Apr. 30 –Had myself a lazy day, tired from my travelling

Tues. May 1 – Here we are

So anyways, back to insanity.  Today was the first day of my recovery week, I didn’t eat very well yesterday so I had a bit of a hard time keeping up, but it’ll get better.  I can’t say there’s anything in this workout that I don’t like, but the last bit is hard, lots of burning, omg!  Also, my knees were hurting a bit afterwards.  I’ll have to figure out how to make gifs so I can show you guys which exercises I like and don’t like.  When I do, I’ll be sure to post them for you.  Anyways, I have things to do today, see you later!

Day 27, Insanity Workout: Plyometric Cardio Circuit

Okay!!!  Today is the last of month 1…took me two months to get through it (due to school & life), but I did it.  I’ll be taking a few “Rest Days” because I’ll be out of town for NPAC (National Photographers Association of Canada) Conference, and I would also like to start my “Recovery Week” on a Monday just like how the calendar has it.  So I will see you in a few days.

Oh ya, about my workout….I really wasn’t in the mood to do it but I did it because I knew I had to…K, ttyl!

Day 26, Insanity Workout: Pure Cardio & Cardio Abs

Okay, okay…I didn’t see you (tomorrow).  I finally finished my 1st year of Photojournalism on Friday, left to go home.  Saturday had a family gathering for a 79th birthday, then on Sunday, went to church, then booked it to my godson’s 5th birthday, so clearly I had absolutely no time to finish my last two workouts to start my recovery week.  So like always I’ll just continue them and won’t be on schedule like the calendar.  At least I’m doing it right, I think that counts for something.

Well, pure cardio…my least favourite Insanity workout…I didn’t do to bad, still can’t get through those flipping push-up jacks, but my arms are burning and hot.  I’m hot and sweaty, and I have a lot to do today, and more travelling to another city, again.  So, I will see you later.

Day 25, Insanity Workout: Cardio Recovery

So today, is the last day of school.  I get to go home…for like a day and a half.  Also, I had an unexpected workout partner, YAAY!  He’s pretty beat from the cardio recovery, and I told him this was the easy workout.  Lol!  I felt the way he did when I first started, so I know how he feels.  Well, it was a good recovery, I’m glad it was today since this will be a long day, and I have a 5 hour bus trip back home.  Until then, see you tomorrow…hopefully.

I’ll see you tomorrow! :)
